Warm temperatures and lack of snow did not hinder the folks of Ironwood, MI from putting on a superb venue at the Gogebic County Fairgrounds.  Although the snow was
not prestine white, the track matched up to those on the national circuit.  Jarrett Kimball brought Team Rhino Racing their first gold of the weekend in the semi-pro open
class.   Unfortunately, he ran in to bad luck with a pile up at the start of the semi-pro stock 600 class and a huge off in the semi-pro stock final.  Amanda Wolfe ran into some
tough competition this weekend in the pro women's class, but she proved she was up to the challenge.  In the final she was making a move for second when she came off
in the whoop section.  She managed to remount quickly and passed her way back up to 3rd overall.  Scott Beck ran qualifying rounds of 3,2,1 on his way to the number one
seed for the final.  At the flag, Scott started in third position.  By the end of lap one he was up in second, and a lap later he took the lead.  Hopefully cold weather and snow
are on the way!

                               Sport Stock                        3,5        Final 10th

Team Rhino Racing appeared on the podium 5 times this weekend with the #292 of Jarrett Kimball grabbing three of them.  Jarrett started the day off with a win in the semi
pro open class.  The day would not go with out struggle.  Jarrett's suffered sled troubles in round one of the semi pro stock 600 class and again in round two of the semi pro.
Working quickly the team joined forces and had him back on the track and on his way to both finals.  In both finals, Jarrett got out to early leads and never looked back.
Amanda Wolfe brought her Ski Doo to the line in the sport stock class.  She earned the 8th qualifying spot for the final and wrapped up the day with a 10th overall.  Sunday,
was another excellent day for Team Rhino Racing.  Jarrett lined up in the Semi Pro stock class and headed into the final undefeated.  At the start, he found himself in fifth
and managed to work his way up to 3rd overall.  Amanda completed her weekend with a 1st overall in pro women's.  Scott Beck rode in the pro stock and pro plus 35
classes.  In pro stock he finished up 6th, but he redeemed himself in pro plus 35.  In pro plus 35 qualifying, #310 qualified first for the final with rounds of 1, 1, 2.  Scott led
the final from flag to flag.  Look for all three of Team Rhino Racing's riders to be at the front of the points standings in the WPSA Wi/IL regional circuit.

July 29, 2006         Ponca City Grand National Motocross Championships

Day #5, what every rider at Ponca has been striving for.  A few of the championships were decided on Friday, but primarily the 3rd and final moto run on Saturday determines
the overall.  Only 30 riders from each class qualify to ride in the main event.  Team Rhino Racing's Grant Beck and Mark Beck were among those to qualify.  Mark took the
line in the first moto of the day in the 250 novice class.  Mark suffered a poor start and was pushed out by several other bikes.  He was making a hard run for the upper half of
the pack until he slid out during the white flag lap.  Mark finished the week long event ranked 26th overall.  Grant lined up later in the morning in the 65 open class.  Grant
was extremely excited to qualify for the main and his nerves seemed to get the best of him when the gate dropped.  His slight hesitation found him near the back of the pack.
Grant rode a good clean moto working his way up to 21st; landing him 20th overall for the National Championship.  Team Rhino Racing made a strong showing at Ponca
bringing home Grant ranked 20th in 65 open, Mark ranked 11th in plus 30 non-pro and 23rd in 250 novice, and Scott ranked 12th in plus 30 non-pro.  Look for the team to
build on their success and continue improving as the head back to the mid-west .

July 28, 2006         Ponca City Grand National Motocross Championships

Day #4, what can we say, "wet"!  After a 4 1/2 hour rain delay, qualifying wrapped up and several championships were decided.  Mark and Scott waited until dusk to launch
out of the gate and finish 7th and 10th respectively.  Both riders had to make numerous, passes after their mediocre starts.  Mark missed a top 10 overall by one spot, due to
his unfortunate mishap in moto 1.  Scott's moto's of 14th and 10th landed him a 12th overall.  Impressive finishes at the Ponca National Championships.  Grant yet again
improved and this time it landed him a trip to the main event.  His 14th place finish today was good enough to give him 10th overall in the 65 open.  He also laid down an
impressive second moto in the 65 mod class; unfortunately with yesterday's 23rd and today's 12th he finished 18th overall.  Team Rhino Racing made an impressive
showing today.  Good luck to Grant and Mark as the week long event wraps up on Saturday.  Also, a little special thanks to Scott USA for setting the team up with new goggle
lenses and additional tear-offs for the muddy conditions.
July 27, 2006         Ponca City Grand National Motocross Championships

Day #3 concluded with a thunder shower.  It remains to be seen what Friday's track brings.  Today's cloud cover gave break to the 100 degree temperatures and kept
moisture in the track providing awesome traction.  Grant put it to good use and cleared yet another of the tracks doubles and landed the tunnel jump triple.  Grant improved
upon his moto one finishes in both the 65 and 85 stock classes.  In the 65 stock he put down motos of 18, 13 for a 14 overall missing the main by only 4 spots.  The 85
class was similar with motos of 17, 15 for 15 overall.  Unfortunately, he missed the main in both stock classes but if he continues his streak of improvements his best shot
will be in Friday's 65 mod class.  Mark put down a strong 16th in moto two of the 250 class landing him 13th overall and a trip to the main on Saturday.  Scott's day was off to
a muddy slow start has he went down twice in moto two of the 125 class.  Scott wrapped up the 125 class 27th overall.  Scott hopes to redeem himself in Friday's late
afternoon Plus 30 non-pro class.  Continue to check back as Team Rhino Racing heads into the final days of Ponca!

July 26, 2006         Ponca City Grand National Motocross Championships

Day #2 of the 31st Annual Ponca City Grand National Motocross Championship wrapped up around 6:30 pm.  The temperatures soared into the 100's giving the track crew
the incredible task of keeping moisture in the track.  The Plus 30 non-pro class was the second to last of the day's events and the track was dried out, dusty, slick, and
contained some large breaking bumps.  At the gate drop, Scott and Mark were off to a good start until Mark swapped out hitting the rear tire another rider.  Mark went down
hard and had to straighten up the bars and controls on his bike before remounting and riding back to 17th.  Scott narrowly missed running Mark over and recovered quickly.
Scott rode his way to a 14th.  Grant took his Heart Beat Racing modified KTM 65 to the line in both the 65 mod and 65 open classes.  In the mod class, Grant improved his
starts and gathered up a 12th.  It looked like Grant was going to continue his streak of improvements in the 65 open class until he went down on the face of the tunnel jump.
The steep face made it difficult for Grant to get his bike upright and then he had to roll backward to a level surface to re-fire his bike.  Grant made a few late passes working
his way back up to 23rd.  The Team Rhino Racing riders continue to promote the team and their sponsors while learning and improving with each moto.  Good luck as the
chase for the championships continue.
July 25, 2006         Ponca City Grand National Motocross Championships

Day 1 at Ponca City, OK is in the books.  Events 1 through 43 ran moto #1.  The format for the week is a two moto format with a third decided in the championships on
Saturday in the classes with multiple divisions.  All of the divisions that the Team Rhino Racing members entered require the third and final moto except the plus 30 non-pro
class.  As expected at a national event the competition is tough.  This week will mark some of the amateurs final events before turning to the pro ranks.  All of the factories
have their amateur supported riders here vying for the championships.  Grant rode moto 1 in the 65 9-11 stock class and 85 stock thru 11.  Unfortunately, in the 65 stock
class he was forced to the center of the track with the thickest of mud and had to battle his way from a poor start up to 18th.  Grant managed a better start on his 85, but it
wasn't until the final laps that he settled in and hit the 50 foot finish line double.  Once he conquered that obstacle he was able to move up several spots to 17th.  Scott rode
the 125 novice class.  This class has 4 divisions with almost full gates in each.  Scott pulled out a mid pack finish at 21st.  Mark took his KX250 to the line in the 250 novice
class.  Most of these riders can run with the best of them in the District 16 or 17 races.  Mark's moto took of in the 100+  afternoon heat, but Mark settled in to a comfortable
pace and hit all of the doubles on the track including the banner step up.  Mark fought his way up to 13th overall.  Mark missed the top ten after he found himself stuck in a rut
behind a stalled rider.
July 24, 2006         Ponca City Grand National Motocross Championships

Monday, July 24 was practice day in Ponca City, OK.  Team Rhino Racing  members Grant Beck, Mark Beck, and Scott Beck hit the track starting at 8 am and ran their last
practice at 7 pm.  The track formed deep ruts and some huge breaking bumps.  Grant managed 3 practice sessions while Mark and Scott were only given 2 shots to check
out the track.  Unlike the typical races the team attends, that will be the last look at the track before the gate drops for Tuesday's motos.  There will be no practice held before
any of the motos Tuesday through Saturday.  Grant mastered the ruts and was putting down some good lap times.  Look for him to finish moto 1 well tomorrow if he can get
a good hole shot.  Mark and Scott were taking a second look at some of the big doubles out on the track, but after Mark conquered a few of them on his first practice session
the track seemed more manageable.  Scott will be the first team member out of the gates on Tuesday morning when he lines up for race #3.  Racing gets under way at 7 am
each day.  Thanks to KTM and the NMA for putting on the chicken barbecue this evening.
July 23, 2006         Ponca City Grand National Motocross Championships

Team Rhino Racing  members Grant Beck, Mark Beck, and Scott Beck left Burlington, Wisconsin at 5:00 pm on Friday, July 21 headed for the Ponca City Grand National
Motocross Championships in Ponca City, OK.  The drive was 825 miles through 5 states and took approximately 14 hours.  They pulled their rig into lot #4 for pre-race
parking.  With only a little over 300 electrical hook-ups, and Team Rhino Racing being handed #327 the wait was not only long but also stressful.  At almost 6 pm Saturday
night they purchased electrical hook up 4B.  The team spent some of the down time on Saturday riding mountain bikes around the track and to the local convenient store for
ice, but primarily the bike miles were to and from the motor home and back to registration to see wait number was up.  Sunday's activities flowed through in a more orderly
fashion.  At 7 am the parking began, and Team Rhino Racing was in place by 2 pm with electricity and water flowing.  They got their bikes through the tech inspection with
only about a 1 hour wait in the afternoon sun.  The team members completely some last minute bike prep and are relaxing looking forward to Monday's practice sessions.
Check back for updates on the Team's trip to Ponca City, OK.  The Ponca City News is working on repairing the wireless connections so hopefully the team will be capable
of staying in touch and keep all their fans and sponsors updated.
July 16, 2006         Alterra Coffee Bean Classic at Crystal Ridge, Franklin, WI

The Wisconsin Off Road Series held their sixth event at Crystal Ridge.  The WORS race was hosted by the Alterra Coffee team.  The temperatures soared to 95+ and the
heat index was over 100 posting heat advisories, but Team Rhino Racing was up to the challenge.  Team members Grant, Mark and Scott pedalled their way to the finish
line with the support of Taitum Beck, Bobbi Beck and Ron and Tammi Opper.  Ron met the team members out the back of the track at the climb called "craters of the moon"
and provided the riders with a cool dose of water the back of the neck, while Bobbi and Taitum provided encouragement on the front stretch and swapped out water bottles.
Each of the riders completed the course in respectable times, but an unfortunate registration error kept Grant and Mark from being scored properly.  Starting with a several
minute delay Grant managed to put up a 12th in the Citizen Youth 11-12 age group and with a similar delay Mark rode to a 12th in the Citizen 35-39 class.  Scott managed to
squeeze into the top ten edging out two competitors on the last climb to claim 7th in the Citizen 35-39 class.  Click on the links below to view photos of the event.  The first is

July 5, 2006         Metro Wednesday Night Racing at Crystal Ridge, Franklin, WI

Team Rhino Racing took their training regimen to a new level.  For a team and family that seemingly thrives on competition, it was only natural for the team to find it
necessary to gauge their physical endurance and push themselves harder and further.  Team Rhino Racing members Grant, Mark, and Scott entered their first mountain
bike race!  The race was organized by the Metro Mountain Bikers, the Milwaukee WORBA chapter and held at Crystal Ridge ski area in Franklin, WI.  Each team member met
their personal goals and finished their respective races.  In all 41 riders lined up to take the start, but at the end only 29 prevailed and completed the event.  Grant rode in the
men 17 and under class and finished 2nd in 56.03 minutes.  Mark and Scott rode in the 30-39 age group and finished 9th and 10th.  Mark crossed in 1 hour 22 minutes with
Scott following in 1 hour 26 minutes.  It was also a sight worth seeing as Grant used his remaining energy to coach both Mark and Scott up the final hill by jogging along
side of each rider for encouragement.  Team Rhino Racing will certainly continue to utilize mountain biking as a training platform, but check back to see when they decide to
push their pedals at the track next.
June 18, 2006         Sports and Competition, Denmark, WI

For motocross enthusiasts it is hard to imagine a better place to spend Father's Day then at the track.  That is exactly what Team Rhino Racing did.  Unfortunately, the day
was cut short due to rain and deteriorating track conditions, but not before Team Rhino Racing grabbed some hardware.  It was Grant Beck who showed the rest of the team
how to ride in the mud.  Grant completed first motos in the 65 and 85jr class without hitting the mud.  Grant brought home a 2nd on his KTM 65 and a 4th on his KX 85.  Mark
Beck and Scott Beck should have been paying closer attention to Grant's mud style because both riders hit the mud early.  Although Mark hit the mud a few times, he sure
knew how to throw it from his rear tire when he was up.  Mark brought home win in the 250C class and 6th in the Vet B.  Scott rounded out the top 10 in the Vet B class.  At
the completion of racing, Mark and Scott prepped Grant's bikes for a week long tour of different track with coach Jesse Zambon.
May 27-29, 2006         MotoSports Park, Byron, IL

Over the 3-day Memorial Day weekend, Team Rhino Racing put down 30 motos, grabbed 19 podiums and 6 overalls.  The successful weekend was capped with each rider
earning themselves an invite to the Ponca City Grand National Championships in Ponca City, Oklahoma.  Grant Beck proved that he learned a thing or two from the previous
weekend's school and started the weekend with an overall win in the 85 Jr class and 3rd in the 65 Sr.  Sunday's event brought out the areas best and again Grant proved
ready for the challenge.  He rode consistent motos for a 3rd in the 65 Sr and battled some back of the pack starts to move himself up to a top ten in the 85 jr.  Monday's event
moved the team to the stadium style track where Grant went 1 and 2 overall in the 65 Sr and 85 Jr.  Mark Beck continued to gain speed an momentum on his KX250.  Mark
captured 7 moto victories and 5 overalls in the Vet +30B and 250 classes.    Scott Beck was excited to finally be back out on his bike after suffering a knee injury during the
snocross season.  He brought home 2 top 10's in Vet +30B.

May 20-21, 2006         Dutch Sport Park, Bloomingdale, MI

Team Rhino Racing's Grant Beck attended Alex Mangas' Mini Champ Racing School at Dutch Sport Park in Bloomingdale, MI.  During the two day camp, Grant drilled on flat
corners, ruts, starts, and his favorite jumping.  Grant was one of the star pupils in attendance and was asked to perform many of the demonstrations.  The camp stressed
form and repetition during practice sessions.
May 4, 2006         Waterford, WI

Team Rhino Racing will need to find a little more room in the trailer when the head to the next race.  Taitum Beck will definietely not be leaving the shop without her new
wheels.  Taitum is sure to make it to and from trackside a lot faster with 90cc powering her.

Team Rhino Racing spent the Easter weekend at Hangtime MX at another Lorretta Lynn's area qualifying race.  Despite having to fight severe thunderstorms on Friday
evening and a down pour on Sunday, the track workers were able to keep the track in good racing condition and the racers thanked them by putting down some awesome
motos.  Among them was Team Rhino Racing's Mark Beck and Grant Beck.  Both riders, brought untested brand new bikes to this weekend's event.  Friday was spent with
Mark and Scott Beck spending several hours going through the bikes and prepping them for action before the days practice event.  Scott, Mark, and Grant all battled the wet
conditions to test the bikes and the track.  Grant and Mark took to the track both Saturday and Sunday, but it was Sunday's events that proved to be more rewarding.  Mark
Beck put together strong consistent runs in both the +25 and +30 classes and his +30 5th overall qualified him to be invited to the Lorretta Lynn's regional event.  Grant Beck
continued to improve his form and technique, but struggled most of the weekend with his starts up until the last moto.  After watching Mark qualify, Grant launched out of the
gate and was on the attach the entire moto and put down his best moto of the weekend finishing 7th and landing him in the top 10 in the 65 Mod LL qualifier.

#310 Scott Beck           Pro Plus 35              4,2            Final 8th
#390 Amanda Wolfe   Pro Women              2,6            Final 3rd
Sport Stock                7,6,5

Team Rhino Racing capped off the season on a high note in Lake Geneva, WI.  Once again the WPSA and the Grand Geneva Resort put on a spectacular venue.  The track
was covered with plenty of snow and the sun shining made the 45 degree temperatures feel even warmer.  Amanda Wolfe got the team start by improving with each of her
Sport Stock rounds on Friday.  She topped her weekend off on Saturday by taking her Ski Doo to the podium.  Amanda's 3rd place finish secured her a top 5 overall points
position.  Scott Beck suffered the crash of the weekend pleasing the crowd not once but twice at the end of the race over the finish line jump in round one qualifying.  Back in
the pits crew chief, Ron Opper and Don Kautz got Scott's sled ready for round two.  In the final, Scott suffered an off at the top of the hill and had to chase his sled to the
bottom in order to remount.  Despite the weekend's unfortunate mishaps Scott pulled off an 8th place finish which was enough to hold on to 2nd place overall.  Jarrett
Kimball completed the team's weekend, with qualifying rounds of 4,3,3 in the Semi Pro Open.  This qualified him for the LCQ.  Jarrett was unable to hold on to a transfer
spot, but finished off the season with some impressive runs.  The team will be attending the Powersports Snowmobile Tour national awards banquet on Sunday, March 19
honoring the top drivers in each class.
March 10-11, 2006    Powersports Snowmobile Tour West Yellowstone Snowblast

#310 Scott Beck           Pro Plus 35              4,4            Final 5th

#390 Amanda Wolfe   Pro Women              5,5            Final 9th
Sport Stock               5,7,15

Team Rhino Racing sent two drivers out to West Yellowstone, MT for the ninth round of the Powersports Snowmobile Tour.  The snow and the scenery was incredible.  The
deep snow conditions assisted in making an already technical track even more difficult as the moguls grew deeper throughout the day.  Crew chief, Ron Opper, had
Amanda Wolfe's Ski Doo and Scott Beck's Polaris well prepped.  Upon arrival to West Yellowstone, only a slight carburetor adjustment was required and the sleds were
ready for the higher elevation.  Amanda Wolfe launched her Ski Doo out front early in Pro Women's qualifying, but suffered a crash over the mid track double setting her back
to 5th.  In the final, she got a mid pack start and struggled to keep her momentum through the deep whoops section.  Amanda held on to 9th overall and maintained her 5th
overall points position.  Scott Beck remained consistent and qualified for the final 4th with a pair of fours.  In the final, Scott battled #249 Troy Halverson for fourth place.  Scott
made a couple of early race attempts and finally got around Troy in lap three.  Unfortunately, Scott bobbled the mid track double, double section giving fourth back to Troy.
Scott's consistent performance and this week's 5th has moved him into 2nd in the overall points chase.  The last event on the Powersports Snowmobile Tour is this
weekend's Nielsen Enterprises Grand Finale at the Grand Geneva Resort in Lake Geneva, WI.

March 4, 2006     Ultimate Lambeau Leap

#292 Jarrett Kimball    Semi Pro Stock       3,5,8
Semi Pro Open        5,3,5
#310 Scott Beck           Pro Plus 35              4,4            Final 4th
Semi Pro Stock

#390 Amanda Wolfe   Pro Women              4,3            Final 5th
Sport Stock                7,5

Amanda Wolfe put her new Ski Doo through the tests this weekend.  She finished the weekend with a 5th overall, but at several points she was riding much better than the
finish shows on paper.  Unfortunately, she suffered a few crashes, but all things considered she did remarkably well for her first time out on a new sled.  Jarrett Kimball
continued to show that he has not peaked yet this season.  He put together some excellent qualifying rounds including a pair of 3rd's.  One in Semi Pro Stock and the other
on his 600 Mod sled.  Scott Beck looked to be improving with each Semi Pro Stock round of qualifying until in round three he landed in one of the deep holes and hyper
extended his knee.  Scott pulled of the track in an attempt to save whatever he could for the Pro Plus 35 class.  Despite the knee, Scott stayed consistent and rode to a 4th
place overall.  Crew chief, Ron Opper, had a busy day considering it was a one day race instead of two, the race was inside Lambeau field, and there was a brand new sled
on the team.  Despite a few set backs, Team Rhino Racing pulled together and had a good showing.

March 3, 2006     #390 Amanda Wolfe to ride a '06 Ski Doo MXZX

Team Rhino Racing's Pro Woman rider Amanda Wolfe has secured a deal that will move her to Team Ski Doo for the last 3 WPSA Nationals.  Amanda views this as an
excellent learning opportunity and is looking forward to piloting the REV.  She has little time on the sled and is nervous going into this weekend's event but also optimistic.
February 25-26, 2006     State Park Speedway, Wausau, WI

#292 Jarrett Kimball    Pro Open          1, 2           Final 2nd
Pro Stock          1, 1           Final 3rd
#310 Scott Beck           Masters 25       1, 1           Final 2nd
Masters 35        1, 1           Final 1st

#390 Amanda Wolfe   Sport 600           6, 5
Sport 500           1, 3            Final 10th

Team Rhino Racing rolled into Wausau, WI early Saturday morning for the USSA Prostar race held at State Park Speedway.  The track had plenty of snow, but the corners
were long sweeping corners that soon were down to ice.  This proved to be a challenge that crew chief, Ron Opper, had several ideas to aid the sleds in conquering.  Jarrett
Kimball repeatedly pulled strong holeshots in the Pro ranks.  On Saturday, he rode his open sled to a 2nd place finish.  On Sunday, he was the number one qualifier going
into the Pro Stock final.  He muscled his way through the pack on the start and quickly made his way into second.  He hunted down the leader and put together a late race
pass attempt to take the lead.  Unfortunately, on the icy corners the two sleds got tangled and Jarrett had to settle for 3rd.  Amanda Wolfe had some tough luck on Saturday
and crashed in both of her Sport 600 qualifying rounds.  On Sunday, Amanda brought her "A" game and won her first round of qualifying and took 2nd in the second round.
She looked to be off to a good start in the final, until she got tagged from behind spinning her sled around and then tipping it on its side.  She quickly uprighted her sled and
chased down the pack and made a few late race passes to gain her a top 10 finish.  Scott Beck gave away the Masters 25 class leading the final all the way until the last lap
when he made a mistake and went over the berm and off the track.  Fortunately, he was able to re-enter and finish 2nd.  Scott kept his focus on Sunday and swept the
Masters 35.  In Pro Stock action Scott had qualifying rounds of 4 and 2.  In the final, Scott was off to a mid pack start when a driver lost control of his Arctic Cat directly in front
of Scott leaving him no room.  After untangling his sled from the Arctic Cat, Scott rode his way back up to an 8th place finish.  This coming weekend Team Rhino Racing will
be back to WPSA National action at the Ultimate Lambeau Leap in Green Bay, WI.

Frigid temperatures were the story of the weekend.  Team Rhino Racing participated in the Victor Ford Challenge in Wauconda, IL were on Saturday morning the
temperature was -12 with wind chills down below -25.  Despite snow elsewhere the WTC crew was able to make enough snow for the event.  Jarrett Kimball put on a nice
showing during Saturday's Semi Pro 600 with a 2nd overall.  Amanda Wolfe was a crowd pleaser with her huge off over the finish line table top and missed qualifying for the
Sport 600 final.  Scott Beck went 1 and 1 in Pro Plus 35 qualifying Saturday and continued on Sunday with a clean sweep.  Jarrett had some misfortunes with his open sled,
but again on Sunday ran well on his stocker.  In the Semi Pro Stock final, Jarrett rode his way up to 3rd and was chasing down 2nd when the checkered flag flew.  Scott
made his way to the Semi Pro Stock final via the LCQ.  This gave him a back row start where he took full advantage of an early race crash and continued on to finish 5th
overall.  Amanda put together better qualifying rounds in the Sport Stock class qualifying for the back row.  She found an inside line and slotted into 6th on the start.  Amanda
pressured for 5th until the white flag lap when she made the pass stick and took over 5th.  Before pulling the hauler out for the weekend the team took time and signed a few
autographs.

The 2005-2006 WPSA National Snowmobile tour has been full of challenges that none of the teams could predict.  The unseasonably warm temperatures and below
average snow accumulation has forced several changes to the schedule.  The past weekends race originally scheduled for Buffalo, NY was moved to Park X in Hill City, MN.
The Park X track was changed from previous races held there.  The most prominent change was the running of the race in the clockwise direction rather than the typical
counter-clockwise.  The additional right handed corners were not what gave the team their biggest challenge; it proved to be the extremely deep holes on the down hill
sections.  Jarrett Kimball managed to double through a few of them and showed true determination in the Semi Pro ranks.  Scott Beck put together a good heat race in
round one of Semi Pro Stock qualify, but six laps took its toll on the Pro Plus 35 driver.  Amanda Wolfe suffered a mis-navigation through the left hander before heading back
up the hill in Sport Stock round one.  She got caught between the two lines in the corner and her sled tipped over launching her.  She re-mounted for a 7th place finish.  All
three drivers put together good heat races, but could not make it show with their finishes.

On Sunday, the team made their way over to Ironwood, MI where they met up with Pallin Racing's Josh and Kyle Pallin for a day of testing and additional seat time.  Ron
Opper put in some early morning hours on the dozer breaking up the frozen track and giving the riders something to practice on.  The team made a series of clutching and
suspension tests and gained knowledge that should prove to boost performance in the coming weekends.  Hopefully cold weather and snow will support the balance of the
season.
February 7, 2006             Ironwood WPSA Regional February 11-12 has been cancelled
February 4-5, 2006          Pallin Racing to host WPSA Regional Snocross February 11-12 in Ironwood, MI

The unseasonable warm temperatures and lack of snow has caused many changes in the snocross scheduling this year.  One area in the midwest that is not lacking snow
is Ironwood, MI.  Pallin Racing invited Team Rhino Racing to practice on their track in Ironwood, MI.  Riders, Amanda, Jarrett and Scott took them up on the offer for the past
weekend.  The track was impressive and the weekend's changes made it even better.  The front stretch included a table top with the snow piled up more than 12' and the
triple landing extending out to an incredible 100'.  Pro Rider, Brian Harmon, was the first rider to land the triple for the Globe photographer.  Team Rhino Racing's riders;
along with, Kyle and Josh Pallin could not pass up the chance for some additional exposure and joined Harmon.  Saturday evening just when the team thought they were
fully exhausted, crew chief Ron Opper suggested an 80 mile trail ride.  The team put off recuperating and mounted Ron's Polaris trail machines.  If anyone is still searching
for snow, head to Ironwood!

On Sunday, volunteers in numbers too numerous to mention here all joined forces in support of Pallin Racing and their efforts to host a WPSA Regional snocross race on
February 11 & 12.  The race was originally scheduled for Menomonie, WI, but when it was cancelled Steve Pallin gathered the support of the community of Ironwood, MI and
Hurley, WI to make it happen at their practice track.  An unbelievable amount of snow was hauled and pushed in throughout Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.  Three loaders
hauled and pushed snow while Ron Opper and Pallin Racing's mechanic Pete sculpted the track with dozers.  A start-line was pushed together and blended in and an
entire new triple section added.  With the weekend's additions and improvements to the track, this venue will be one of the best regionals and probably the start of
something much bigger!

Team Rhino Racing suffered through crashes and injury at the fourth stop on the WPSA Snowmobile Tour in Hill City, MN.  Amanda Wolfe #390 was the first team rider to
take a start in Saturday's action.  Amanda rounded the first corner in the middle of the pack, but suffered an off in the second corner.  After remounting, she put together a
strong run all the way through the checkered flag.  Amanda over cleared the tabletop at the finish and suffered a severe cut to her right hand.  Amanda made a quick run to
the emergency room in Grand Rapids, MN for 10 stitches.  She made it back in time for the Pro Women's class, but soon found she was only going to be able to take the
starts in an attempt to hold on to her overall points position.  Scott Beck #310 off loaded from his sled in practice on Friday and again in the first heat race of the Pro Plus 35
class.  Running third, Scott came down the second downhill with a full head of steam and lost control over the second double.  With bent handle bars he limped the sled
across the finish in 7th.  Scott was a little intimated by the track in the final and it took him until lap four to post his best time.  Scott worked his confidence up and moved up
into a 5th place finish.  In Semi Pro action, Jarrett posted some strong lap times, but wasn't able to pull together the consistency needed to make the final.  Jarrett's
strongest laps were during round three of the Semi Pro Stock class where an unfortunate early race collision with another sled bent the right A-arm.  Jarrett was able to ride
well until with the front suspension collapsed during a corner landing, the steering locked up on him and he was unable to finish.  The team will pull themselves and their
equipment together and be ready for action again this weekend.  Watch for top regional finishes from the entire team as they prepare for the fifth stop on National tour in
Buffalo, NY

Semi Pro Stock     7,5,7
#390 Amanda Wolfe   Pro Women           6,4            Final 3rd
Sport Stock            4,8,4

Amanda Wolfe rode her way to the podium at the third stop on the WPSA Snowmobile Tour in Shakopee, MN.  The WPSA crew did a remarkable job building the track by
hauling snow and blowing snow in the evenings.  The track had over a 5ft base of snow and included challenges like the front stretch with a double and two 100ft triples.
Amanda rode the sport stock class on Saturday morning and her practice and training showed.  She attempted the front stretch triple early on and made up ground with
every heat race.  Saturday afternoon in the Pro Women's final, Amanda was buried in the back of the pack on the start.  She made up most of the time in the air and passed
her way up to fifth.  A crash by the current leader, sent her to fourth and by the end of the race she was standing on the podium giving an interview for 3rd place.  Scott Beck
continued a consistent streak of 5th place finishes in the Pro Plus 35 final.  Scott was the third place qualifier with heat finishes of 3 and 2.  In the heats, Scott was able to
launch his sled out front quickly, but in the final he was pinched off and started toward the rear of the field.  Scott quickly worked his way up to sixth, but it took several laps for
him to find a way around #69 Troy Main.  Scott caught up to #249 Troy Halverson, but ran out of laps and finished 5th.  Jarrett Kimball looked good in the Semi Pro ranks, but
suffered an off at the finish of semi pro stock round one.  Crew chief, Ron Opper, quickly worked on the sled and had it ready to go by round two.  Jarrett still a little shook up
went back on the track and put down a 5th.

January 7-8, 2006        Plymouth Race of Champions, Plymouth, WI

#292 Jarrett Kimball    Pro Open          1, 2           Final 1st
Pro Stock          1, 1           Final 4th
#310 Scott Beck           Masters 25       1, 1           Final

Masters 35        1, 1           Final 1st
#390 Amanda Wolfe   Sport Stock       1, 2            Final 2nd
Sport Stock       3, 3            Final 6th

Heading up to the Plymouth race, Team Rhino Racing was sceptical about the conditions.  No snow for miles and unseasonably warm temperatures were obstacles that
the USSA and the Plymouth Snow Rangers had to overcome in order to put on the 28th Annual Race of Champions.  The track conditions were not ideal, but they managed
to put together enough snow to run the event.  Not wanting to lose additional snow, track grooming was kept to a minimum which made for some rough corners.  Team
Rhino Racing proved ready for the competition.  On Saturday, the Team brought home finals of 1, 2, 1.  Jarrett Kimball started the roll with a big win in the Pro Open in the
Adam Muesegades Memorial race.  With the absence of a pro women's class, Amanda Wolfe showed the boys just how tough she was.  In the sport stock final, Amanda
launched off the line to an early lead.  She led most of the race, until she made a late race mistake and blew through a berm.  She managed to re-enter the track quickly, and
held on for a 2nd place finish.  Scott Beck took the track in the Masters 25 class and showed he had the conditioning to go 1,1 and 1 for the day.  By the end of the night's
interviews, the crowd and the competition knew Team Rhino Racing meant business!  Sunday morning again started off excellent, with Jarrett going undefeated in Pro Stock
qualifying and Scott going undefeated in Masters 35.  Amanda grabbed a pair of 3's to qualify for the back row of the Sport 600 final.  Jarret got off line with a good hole shot
in the Pro Stock final, but a red flag forced a re-start.  On the re-start, he grabbed a middle of the pack start.  The tight track made passing difficult and he had to ride hard to
work his way into a 4th place overall.  From the back row, Amanda managed only a fair start.  She continued to pick off the competition one at a time, and moved her way up
to a 6th overall.  Scott again showed the competition that it was going to be all him this weekend going undefeated in Masters 35 as well.  The team had a few equipment
issues, but nothing proved to be even a challenge for crew chief, Ron Opper.  Ron managed to get all of the drivers excellent starts all weekend.  Congratulations to Team
Rhino Racing, great team work!

January 4, 2006                   First Annual Midnight Snowshoe Walk, Hurley, WI

Team Rhino Racing would like to wish everyone a happy new year and the best of luck in the new year.

The holiday season gave the team time to practice and do some team building to emerge in the new year better prepared to conquer the upcoming races and the
challenges that come along with them.  While Jarrett Kimball rested a sore left knee, Amanda Wolfe, Ron Opper and Scott Beck headed for Upper Michigan for three days of
practice and testing.  Steve Pallin and Pallin Racing invited them to come to Ironwood, MI and ride on their practice track.  The team was ecstatic to find out how much snow
the Pallin's were able to haul in.  The track was grueling and gave everyone a challenging workout.  On the evening of Wednesday, December 28 "Slippery" a close friend of
Pallin Racing invited everyone to the First Annual Midnight Snowshoe walk.  This gave Team Rhino Racing, Pallin Racing, and fiends and family time to exercise together
and enjoy some holiday cheer.  The one and a half hour walk through the snow covered woods after a day of riding made for a good workout, and an incredibly good time.  It
was a huge success.  Team Rhino Racing's next event is the USSA Prostar event scheduled for January 7 & 8 in Plymouth, WI.

Special thanks to Steve, Josh, Kyle, Pete, Eric, Slippery and all of the others involved in creating the practice track.

Special thanks to Slippery and his family for hosting the snowshoe excursion.

#310 Scott Beck           Semi Pro Stock     5,5,9   (Duluth)
Pro Plus 35            1,2           Final 5th
#390 Amanda Wolfe   Pro Women           3,2            Final 6th

The second stop on the WPSA Snowmobile Tour was in Gaylord, MI.  Snocross racers and snowmobile enthusiasts rejoice when they see snow falling from the sky.  Our
team is no exception; however, the snow on Thursday evening made travel to Gaylord more difficult than anticipated.  Ron Opper logged some long hours on snow covered
roads to get the team and our rig to Gaylord for Friday's practice session.  The racing began on Saturday morning with the make up races from the Amsoil Duluth National.
Jarrett Kimball and Scott Beck both had two rounds of Semi Pro stock to conclude.  Jarrett ran rounds of 8 & 9 and Scott ran rounds of 5 & 9.  Scott was then the first team
member to hit the track for the start of the Michigan National.  Scott put down qualifying rounds of 1 & 2 to land him the number two seed heading into the final.  In the final,
Scott found himself in sixth after corner one.  Within the opening laps Scott moved up two positions, but could only hold off #xxx Michael M for a couple of laps.  Scott could
not get the #xxx sled back and finished the final 5th.  In Pro Women's action, Amanda Wolfe put together rounds of 2 & 3 and looked to be adjusting to the track.  With high
hopes she took the green, but only until another sled over turned landing the driver directly in front of Amanda.  Amanda tried to avoid the downed driver, but another sled
tagged Amanda hard from behind.  Amanda cleared the wreckage, and ran down several positions finishing in 6th.  Jarrett Kimball was plagued with drive train and brake
problems.  It was difficult for Jarrett, to put together a consistent series.  Several times Jarrett put together strong heats only to suffer sleds malfunctions.  During his last
heat race, Jarrett's chain case broke launching him through the air directly in front of a couple new young fans.  The youngsters were awe struck by the crash and made their
way through the pits in search of Jarrett's autograph.  They found Jarrett recovering back in the Renegade and he graciously signed their pit passes.  The team is gathering
information and components to spend several days over the next two holiday weeks testing.

#390 Amanda Wolfe

Sport Stock              6,4,5       Final 10th

This weekend the team headed an hour and a half west of Duluth, MN to Hill City, MN; the home of Park-X.  Park-X put together a challenging track starting with a long up hill
hole shot and two technical down hills.  The team intended to complete some testing during Friday's practice session, but instead suffered some set backs with Jarrett
Kimball and Scott Beck both busting chains and taking out the chain cases.  With Friday's problems the team almost, depleted Ron Opper's spare parts inventory.
Fortunately, Ron was able to get all of the machines ready for Saturday's race program.  Jarrett started out the weekend not feeling 100% and this was compounded when
he suffered a big off on Saturday.  On Sunday, he was back on track and put together some good motos.  Scott Beck showed consistent improvement throughout the
weekend's motos with this best finish in round three on Sunday.  Tammy Opper, was present to video several motos and this provided excellent  feedback for the team after
Saturday evening's viewing.  Amanda Wolfe provided an upbeat finish to the team's weekend with her victory in the Pro Am Women's class.  Throughout the weekend,
Amanda was challenged by both Ashely Parliament and April Moritz.  Amanda proved up to the task and showed her determination especially in round two when she landed
a huge downhill triple to take the checkered.  Amanda also put together strong enough qualifying rounds to land her in the sport stock final.  From the back row, she worked
her way up into the top 10.  This week the team is faced with another short week and will be headed out to Gaylord, MI for round number two of the WPSA Snowmobile Tour.

Team Rhino Racing launched their snocross season at the WPSA National series season opener at Spirit Mountain in Duluth, MN.  There was plenty of last minute
preparation, but the team proved ready for the challenge.  Crew chief, Ron Opper, had the sleds and the rig ready for anything the drivers or weather could throw at them.
Jarrett Kimball #292 took his first ride aboard his new Polaris IQ Mod sled during Friday’s X-games qualifier.  Amanda Wolfe #390 ran the sport stock class on Friday.
Saturday, all three drivers took to the track.  Jarrett in the semi-pro open, Amanda in the Pro Women, and Scott Beck #310 in the Pro Plus 35 class.  Jarrett continued to
become familiar with then new mod sled and consistently improved running qualifying rounds of 9, 5, and 3.  In round one of Pro Women’s qualifying Amanda finished 3rd.
During round two she was running in 3rd when she was knocked off of her sled in corner number one.  Amanda re-fired her sled and finished 7th.  In the final, Amanda
could not find her way around Victoria Hawley #246.  Amanda hit one of the huge holes in the track knocking her into the handle bars; this opened the door for Jennifer Pare
#12 to pass for third putting Amanda in 4th place.  Scott fired the season off with a round one win and followed that up with a strong 4th in round 2.  Scott battled a strong
final, but could not hold on to fifth.  He let Marty Melby #18 around in him in lap five.  Scott was not able to regain the spot and finished one spot outside the top five.  Both
Jarrett and Scott were set for the semi pro stock class on Sunday, but the event was cut short due to severe fog.  The semi pro stock class will be made up at the next WPSA
National in Gaylord, MI.

The Duluth season opener is now only 5 days away!  Team Rhino Racing has switched from wood chip practice to the snow.  Jarrett Kimball began practicing on Thursday
at Team Amsoil's Planet X.  Amanda Wolfe and Scott Beck joined him for Friday and Saturday.  Jarrett has adjusted well to his new ride and looked smooth through the
rough terrain on Saturday afternoon.  The team spent time working through suspension adjustments and each rider had positive feedback regarding their '06 Polaris IQ's.
Jarrett will continue training at Planet X before heading to Duluth.  Amanda and Scott joined Pallin Racing in Iron Wood, MI for additional testing on Sunday.  Thanks to the
efforts of Steve Pallin and riders Josh and Kyle, Amanda and Scott gained an edge with some additional track time.  Amanda and Scott will return to the race shop for final
preparations and then the team is off to Duluth, MN on Wednesday.  Happy Thanksgiving and remember to THINK SNOW!

During this past week and weekend, Team RHINO Racing logged many hours on the wood chip track.  Jarrett Kimball is adjusting rapidly to the switch to his '06 Polaris IQ
440.  Amanda Wolfe and Scott Beck continue to improve from week to week.  Several other riders representing all of the brands have trained on the wood chip track.  With the
number of riders and total laps logged this week, Ron Opper did a super job keeping the track groomed.  A special thank you to Tammy Opper for shooting the photos and
video.

Also, on Saturday, November 12, Jarrett Kimball's mod chassis arrived.  The team will be extremely busy the week prepping all of the new race sleds.  The team has hopes

While one half of Team Rhino Racing was down at MC Motopark, collecting moto wins and overall championships, the other team members continued to prepare for the
upcoming WPSA national snocross circuit.  The weather was perfect for two hard days of riding and training.  Crew chief, Ron Opper, tuned the sled for the conditions giving
Amanda Wolfe and Scott Beck enough power to conquer another triple on the wood chip track.

#30 Grant Beck                  3rd 65Jr,  8th  85Jr
#490 Markt Beck                1st  +30B

On Saturday, it was clear that Grant arrived ready to ride hard.  His corners were unbelievable.  He was attacking everything, and just railing the track.  Mark, on the other
hand, was having a very tough day.  Mark struggled to get the new track layout dialed in.  He was further hindered when he suffered through not one but two flat tires.
Unfortunately, the rear tire incidents effectively took the wind out of his sails for the balance of the day.

On Saturday afternoon, the Midwest Series Champions were presented with their awards.  Grant received his plaque for being the overall champion in the 65Jr class.

Grant started out Sunday on fire during the morning practice.  He landed the big 60 foot double during 65 practice for the first time.  He followed that up by doing it again
during 85 practice and showed he had it mastered several times during the motos.  In moto 1 of the 65jr class, Grant got a middle of the pack start and moved up into 4th by
the end of the first lap after completing several aggressive passes.  He rode hard chasing the number 22 of Adam Reek for third, but couldn't get it done.  It was a good
show, but Grant knew he was faster than Adam.  Then in moto 2, he came out of the first corner in 4th again behind the 22.  Grant battled hard and got around the Adam
Reek on the second lap.  Grant continued to pull away from the 22 chasing down the two leaders.  Grant finished in 3rd giving him 3rd overall.  Grant was one of only four
bikes tackling the 60 foot double.  In the 85jr class, Grant rode consistent finishes of 8 and 7.  He rode strong, but was kept from the front runners by poor starts.  He finished
8th overall.  Mark effectively turned the weekend around on Sunday.  He got his tire problem resolved and put together impressive motos or 2 and 1 for 1st overall in the +30B
class.

Team Rhino Racing has chosen Kim Ayres of Mission Accomplished Fitness to prepare the team's workout routine and monitor the team's fitness progress.  Amanda Wolfe
had an initial consultation on Friday, October 14.  Kim has experience training athletes in many disciplines including motocross and snocross.  Kim is a good match for the
team and should have a major impact on the team's performance.

increase the team's visibility providing enhanced exposure for their sponsors.  Design work began on this project several weeks ago, and work on the truck will begin this
weekend.  Watch for photos of the new colored rig soon.
October 9, 2005        Genoa City, WI

On Saturday, October 9 Amanda and Scott had the opportunity to practice and train on the wood chip track with pro rider Brian Harmon.  Both Amanda and Scott picked up a
few pointers from Brian.  Amanda improved her timing and Scott increased his corner speed.  Jarret Kimball was also out at the track to lend his support to the team and
offer some additional advice.  Crew Chief, Ron Opper, had the track in great shape, but more importantly was able to help in dialing in the front suspension.

Several sponsor deals are nearing completion.  Stay tuned for the announcements of this season snocross sponsors.

OK Racing opened their wood chip test track this weekend.  With OK Racing and Team Rhino Racing joining forces this season, the team will have excellent track time
before the Duluth, MN season opener.  Jarret Kimball is still rehabilitating a fractured leg, but was there to encourage Amanda Wolfe and Scott Beck.  Amanda rode the track
and checked out the lines before she began to hit the double jumps on her second practice set.  Scott tried to double his way around the first lap, but found himself more
worried about the jumps than the corner.  He blew right through the corner and off the track.  His practice session was cut short do to a blown shock reservoir on the left ski
shock.  The team will be back on the track early during the week.

Several sponsor deals are nearing completion.  Stay tuned for the announcements of this season snocross sponsors.
September 24, 2005        Channing, MI

Amanda Wolfe and Scott Beck received an invitation from Carey Racing to ride their test track in Channing, MI.  This marks the earliest the Team has been able to begin
preparing for the upcoming snocross season.  With the season opener still two months away, the track time will give the Team an edge over the competition. The track
include both an uphill and downhill run and included several doubles and a large table top.  It took both riders a little time to make the transition back to the Polaris IQ, but
after a few practice sessions the lap times began to drop.  The early season training gave Amanda and Scott a chance to determine which areas of their workout routines
they need more focus.  The Team plans to continue riding wood chips until the snow flies.

Team Rhino Racing traveled to Byron, IL for a day of groomed track time.  Mark ran his KX125 at an impressive pace.  Watch for Mark to close out the '05 season with
continued podium finishes.  The mud and slippery conditions gave Grant and Scott a little trouble early on in the day.  Grant spent some time on the "hilltop" track be for
moving on to the "legacy" track.  Once he decided he was going to ride the "legacy" track it didn't take long before he was conquering new obstacles.  Scott steadily picked up
the pace throughout the day.  The mud made for a slow start to the day, but Taitum enjoyed the mud pie.

Scott also attempted to capture Grant using digital video.  We hope this does not cause problems for anyone.  Happy viewing.

Leaner and Meaner Polaris 440 IQ Race Sled Returns For 2006

MEDINA, MN (September 11, 2005) – All eyes were on the Polaris factory display at Haydays on September 10 at 11:00am for the unveiling of the race sled that would serve
as an encore to the dominating performance the Polaris 440 IQ™ racer put on last season. The 440 IQ carried Polaris racers to 4 WSA Year-End Championships, not to
mention 3 International snocross racing titles.

As the cover came off, the 2006 Polaris 440 IQ it was apparent the jet black and race red snowmobile was all business. At first glance, there is no doubt that the primary
mission of this snowmobile is continued domination on the race track.

September 4, 2005        Pine Ridge Raceway

#490 Mark Beck        +30B 2nd, 125C 3rd
#30 Grant Beck        65 4th, 85Jr 7th
#310 Scott Beck        +30B 8th, Open

Pine Ridge Raceway was host to Saturday’s Pro-Am race.  The event was well attended by spectators and over 300 riders.  The riders for Team Rhino Racing made a good
showing carrying home hardware in 5 out of 6 classes, but it was Mark Beck having the best day smacking down motos of 3,3,3 and 4 for a +30B 2nd overall and 125C 3rd
overall.  Mark Beck and Scott Beck both got off the line well in moto 1 of the Vet B class.  Mark dodged the riders going down and pushed his way all the way up to 3rd.  Scott
navigated the yellow flags and finished 10th.   In moto 2, it was the #490 of Mark Beck quickly moving up to 3rd.  The #310 of Scott Beck worked hard to gain a few spots
finishing in 9th.  Mark brought home 2nd overall while Scott brought home 8th overall.  In 125C action Mark Beck, #490 launched up front of the pack and rode in 2nd for most
of the moto.  It was not until a late moto near crash that Mark tightened up and got passed.  In moto 2, it looked like the #490 was once again going to be up front until
another bike leaned on Mark a little hard sending the rear of Mark’s bike into a slide.  Mark recovered quickly and worked his way up to 4th for an overall 3rd place finish.
Grant Beck rode excellent motos, but had a few other riders keep him from the front running.  In moto 1 of the 65 class, Grant was running a great moto in 3rd without a
challenger insight when a lapper (rider being lapped) went down taking Grant with him.  Grant remounted and tried to pass for 3rd, but he blew a berm and had to settle for
5th.  Moto 2 went better with Grant putting his KTM out front early.  He rode a great moto finishing in 3rd.  The 5, 3 gave him 4th overall.  In the 85Jr motos, Grant put together
a 9 and 5 for 7th overall.  Moto 2 was an impressive run with the top 5 riders running away from the pack.  Scott Beck lined up with the “A” riders in the Open class and was
about to give it a shot when he stuck the gate.  In moto 2, he pushed his KXF250 up front early, but it was short lived glory.  Scott limped his bike with crooked bars across
the finish line after a last lap crash in the chopped out clay section.

September 2, 2005        Crandon International Raceway

#30 Grant Beck        65 4th, 85 6th
#490 Mark Beck        Vet 2nd, 125C 3rd

Team Rhino Racing traveled to the famous Crandon International Raceway for a Friday evening show.  Crandon claims to be the “World Capital of Off-Road Racing”, and it
was easy to see why with crowds estimated at over 47,000.  The motocross track wound its way on, off and over the truck race track.  The motocross event was run with a
supercross format.  The riders finish in the heat determined their gate pick while the overall was determined by the main.  In the 65 heat Grant Beck made a few mistakes in
the heat ending in 5th.  In the 65 main, Grant got his #30 KTM off to a good start and moved his way into 4th.  Grant took his 85 Suzuki to the line for a 5th in the heat;
however, after a last place start in the main it was going to take a hard battle to match that.  Grant worked his way to 6th and by the final lap he was charging hard through the
whoops and pulled up alongside the competitor; unfortunately, he could not make a pass stick.  The lines came together over the step-up and Grant had to lay up and settle
for 6th.  Mark Beck and his #490 Kawasaki showed that he could make his 125cc run with the big dogs in the Vet class.  The weeks practice paid off in good starts in both
the heat and the main.  Mark rode consistent races moving up to 2nd in the heat and for the final.  The 125C would prove to be even more exciting with Mark getting middle of
the pack starts and having to fight for every position.  The bumping and banging of the 125C class start made it difficult on the #490, but he moved his bike up to 8th in the
heat and after a sixth place start in the main he quickly moved to 3rd.  Mark continued to apply pressure for second, but ran out of laps to get it done.

The weekend did not get off to a good start for Team Rhino Racing when Amanda totaled her BIC car.  Amanda Wolfe, #390, qualified her BIC car in 19th position.  Her
qualifying time landed her on the pole position for heat number two.  Before the green flag waved, Amanda was able to control the pace of the pack setting a perfect pace for
a first gear start.  She rounded corner four and got a huge jump on the pack.  Amanda maintained the lead for 3 laps into the 10 lap heat race when #71 attempted an
aggressive maneuver to duck under her coming out of corner two.  He hit Amanda's car spinning her.  With Amanda spinning, the competitor stayed on gas pushing her
right towards the back stretch wall.  Amanda hit the wall straight on.  The #71 car was black flagged from the race, but not until after he had taken Amanda from the race.
Fortunately, the roll cage, seat and harness did their jobs and protected her from severe injury.  She suffered a minor case of whiplash, and bruises from the harness.
Unfortunately,  Amanda's car suffered severe damage and will not return to the track.

August 21, 2005        Log Road MX

Sunday morning, the track was still pretty wet, but it was starting to set up.  This being the team’s first time at Log Road should not have been a problem for the second day,
but the track layout continued to prove difficult to master.  Mark came off the track feeling like it was tough to race on and very difficult to pass on.  The #30 and #490 bikes
were both hampered by poor starts all day as Grant and Mark worked to find the fast lines around the track.   Grant managed a good start on his 65 in the second moto, but
dropped a few positions as the race went on.  Mark finally got a good start in the second moto of the 125C class and was running up in the 6th position when he went down
in a rock-infested bowl turn.  Unfortunately, the fall tweaked his bike and levers, so it took Mark too long to get under way again to save a good finish.  Team Rhino Racing
tried hard to muster up a good moto, but had to settle for middle-of-the-pack results again on Sunday.
August 20, 2005        Log Road MX

Team Rhino Racing traveled to Log Road MX in Coldwater, MI this past weekend.  Heavy rains Friday night and continued rain periodically Saturday made for a very sloppy
track all day Saturday.  Mark Beck took to the track in the 125C and +30B classes while Grant Beck took to the track in the 65 and 85Jr classes.  They spent the day trying to
learn the track, which changed continuously as the track crew worked to keep it ride-able.  Ankle deep slop on the starting line made good starts tough to come by.  At the
end of the day, the #30 of Grant and the #490 of Mark were glad it was over and satisfied with their middle-of-the-pack results for the day.  Grant managed to post a 5th
overall on his 65, the only results worth mentioning.
August 14, 2005        Motosports Park

#30 Grant Beck                1st  65Sr,  1st  85Jr
#490 Mark Beck
1st  +30B,  12th  125C
#310 Scott Beck               2nd +30B

Outstanding!  This is the one word that describes the results from Sunday’s motocross event held in Byron, IL.  After learning that the 65Jr class did not run the Legacy track
at Motosports Park, Grant Beck opted to run up an age bracket and run with the 65Sr riders.  Grant not only ran with them, he out ran them finishing the day with a clean
sweep in the 65Sr class.  In the 85Jr class, Grant suffered a moto 1 crash to finish 2nd, but in Moto 2 it was all about the #30.  Once Grant got by for the lead, he stayed
focused for the win!  Mark Beck ran his KX125 in the +30B class and his KXF250 in the 125C class.  Scott Beck joined him in the +30B class.  Mark put together stellar
performances in the +30B class.  In the +30B moto 1, it took Mark only a turn or two to build a sizeable lead which he continued to build upon throughout the moto.  Scott
slotted into third for laps one and two, but by lap three he moved up into 2nd.  In moto 2, Scott overanxiously left with the first gate drop and had to return to the gate.  Mark sat
waiting for Scott to return while in the meantime the gate dropped.  Mark slammed his bike into gear and took off with Scott in tow.  Mark charged the pack making
spectacular passes and went from the back of the pack to the front in one lap.  Scott passed hard trying not to lose sight of Mark.  By lap three it was the #490 of Mark
comfortably cruising in the front of the pack when he spotted Scott now in 2nd.  This refueled Mark and he checked out for a Moto 2 win followed by the #310 of Scott in 2nd
for a Team Rhino Racing 1 & 2 finish.  In the 125C class, Mark seemed to have a little more difficulty adjusting the 4-stroker than on Saturday.  He suffered crashes in both
motos and even managing to get run over in moto 2.  Despite all of the misfortune, he finished 12th overall.

#30 Grant Beck                2nd  65Jr,  5th  85Jr
#490 Mark Beck               6th  125C

Team Rhino Racing traveled to Pecatonica, IL for a day on the stadium cross track.  Saturday morning was practice
followed by an evening program.  Grant looked awesome during the heats checking out for a 1st in the 65Jr and a 5th
in the 85Jr class.  During the mains, he suffered from poor starts and was a little hesitant to pass on the tight track.
With a late moto charge and pass during the 65Jr main he moved from 3rd to 2nd.  In the 85Jr class he again had a
poor start.  Coming from the back of the pack, he moved his RM85 up to 5th by the time the checkers flew.  Mark
Beck sidelined his KX125 for the evening, and took his KXF250 to the starting line for the first time.  In the heat race,
Mark looked extremely comfortable aboard his 4-stroker maneuvering his way through the pack and up to 3rd.  In the
main, he was battling hard not only to pass, but to hold off the charge from behind when he stalled his bike.  After
re-firing the unfriendly 4-stroker, he regained a few spots finishing 6th overall.

#390 Amanda Wolfe

Amanda Wolfe qualified for the feature by way of a 2nd place finish in the semi.  After last weeks crash into the wall, it was noticeable during hot laps that Amanda was a little
gun shy.  In the heat race her nerves got the best of her and she continued to overdrive the corners spinning out twice.  She calmed herself and regained her confidence in
the semi.  She started the feature in the fourth row and picked cars off one by one on her way to 2nd.  Starting from the rear of the field in the feature, she moved up a few
spots for 18th overall.

#390 Amanda Wolfe - BIC car #17s

Amanda rolled onto the track Friday night for the first ride in her new BIC car.  The building of her new 94 Ford Probe began on Wednesday afternoon and was completed at
approximately 11:30 pm on Thursday evening.  Special thanks to the efforts of Dave, David, Nick and Ben.  They began gutting the car Wed afternoon and by Wed evening the
car was stripped of its interior and the roll cage installed.  Amanda drove it in two hot lap sessions before qualifying with her season best time of 21.949 seconds.  Traffic
proved difficult for Amanda and her new car.  In the semi she stated in 8th and drove up to 4th before spinning out and ending up back in 10th.  It took her the remaining laps
to work her way back up to 4th.  Amanda stated that the new car handled well, but took a lot of arm strength to turn and needed more rpm's out of the turns.  With a little work
on the car and more seat time in the new ride, watch for her in upcoming feature races at Lake Geneva Raceway.  Also, this weekend Amanda was interviewed for an
upcoming article in the Racine Journal on women in racing.

#490 Mark Beck                 4th 125C,  7th +25C,  DNF +30
#30 Grant Beck                  Sprained Ankle
#310 Scott Beck                 Sore shoulder

Congratulations to Mark Beck!  Mark managed to put a positive spin on what could quite possibly have been one of the worst motocross weekends for Team Rhino Racing
in a long time.  It all started Thursday night during last minute race prep.  Grant's KTM 65 was not going together well, but a small clip from the hardware store on Friday
morning could fix that.  However, things went from bad to worse as the inner clutch hub on Mark's KX 125 broke.  This would turn out to be irreplaceable on Friday.  The
Team voted to continue with the weekend plans one bike short.  Saturday arrived and the saga continued.  Nobody had results from Saturday's race to share.  As a matter of
fact, Grant suffered a sprained ankle during practice.  He attempted to ride moto 1 in the 65Jr and 85Jr classes, but pain kept him off the bike for the rest of the weekend.
Mark spent Saturday logging track time on the #310 four stroker and Scott went down at the start of the whoops in moto 2 and pulled off with an irritated shoulder muscle.
Sunday could not come soon enough.  At Sunday's race sign up, Mark decided he would attempt to run 3 classes.  The heat advisory (97 degrees with a heat index of 105)
proved difficult, but Mark brought home hardware.  In the 125C class, Mark qualified with a 3rd place in moto 1 and a 6th place in moto 2 gave him 4th place overall.  An
excellent showing against more than 60 riders, some whom are headed for Lorreta Lynns.  Mark also picked up a 7th in the +25 class and an 11th in moto 1 of the +30
class.

#30 Grant Beck                 1st  65Jr,    9th  85Jr
#490 Mark Beck                2nd +30B
#310 Scott Beck                5th  +30B

Congratulations to Grant Beck!  Grant secured the Midwest Series points championship in the 65Jr class with a clean sweep this weekend.  After the finish of moto 2, he
was greeted by a reporter from Cycle USA.  He had better brush up on his interview skills, because even though this may have been his first interview riding like that is
certainly going to lead to more.  He ran strong motos in the 85Jr class with a moto 1 finish of 11th and moto 2 of 9th for 9th overall.  Mark Beck is off the injured reserve list
and put together an outstanding return to competition bringing home a 2nd place finish in the +30B clas
